Popular Fellside Recording Artist Bram Taylor has a wealth of experience having established a fine reputation both here and abroad, performing at Folk Festivals, Folk Clubs, Arts Centres and other concert venues in the UK, USA, Canada and Europe.
He engages audiences with his fine rich voice and entertaining sense of humour, performing an excellent selection of both traditional and contemporary material. Bram sings a cappella and also plays guitar and duet concertina. With a constantly healthy gig sheet, annual tours of the USA and appearances at the 2007 & 2009 Mariposa Folk Festival in Canada (alongside Don McLean, Gordon Lightfoot, The Proclaimers and Buffy - Sainte Marie). Bram continues to be a constantly reliable and entertaining performer.
Bram is Fellside Records’ longest serving artist with 10 solo albums and almost an equivalent number of compilation recordings to his credit. His latest Fellside release ‘Jokers & Rogues’ was extremely well received by the British Folk Music Press.
“Taylor’s rich, direct delivery in concert will grab you and not let you go from the first note to the last, in a way that a great many performers can only hope to emulate”
Oz Hardwick, R2 Magazine
“Bram is the complete package - a superb mix of traditional and contemporary folk with outstanding guitar work and of course, his concertina and incredible voice. Coupled with all of this, seeing Bram live for the first time enabled me to witness what a great audience communicator he is, with some very funny between-song chat and a great rapport with the audience. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Bram to any folk club or festival organiser, and I very much hope we shall have the pleasure of welcoming him back to the Willows."
Chris Davis, The Willows Folk Club, Arundel, West Sussex, UK.
